Bids for road project authorized; bonds expected to net $11 million

The Copiah County Board of Supervisors authorized the advertisement for bids on the expansive road overlay project during Monday’s recessed session.

The project will be funded through general obligation bonds with about $2.1 million allocated for each of the five supervisor districts.
