Hazlehurst NAACP honors Black History Month

The Hazlehurst Branch NAACP successfully hosted its first Black History Month celebration Saturday, February 28. With nearly 300 attendees throughout the celebration, the events began at the Hazlehurst Middle School with a community prayer and early morning “Jericho March” that also circled the Hazlehurst High School and ended at the Damascus Outreach Center.
