Bryan (B.T.) Robbins, Sr.

Bryan Thomas (B.T.) Robbins, Sr., 76, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. 

Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday and 9am-10am Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church.  Services will be 10am Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church with interment at Antioch Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

 
Mr. Robbins was a native of Ellisville and moved to Copiah County in 1997.  He worked for the VA Hospital for 37 years and River Oaks Hospital for 23 years.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst, and the Lion’s Club.  He was the music director at Antioch Baptist Church for 13 years.  Mr. Robbins was interim music director for Country Woods, First Baptist Church, Terry, Easthaven, and Wyndale.
 
He is survived by his wife, Rita Barlow Robbins; children, Bryan T. “Rob”(Donna) Robbins, Jr. of Clinton, Beth (Jeff) Smith of Katy, TX, Allison (Tommy) Patterson of Tupelo, Frankie Sawyers of Wesson and Craig Sawyers of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Bryan T. (Christine) Robbins, III of Rockville, MD, Bethany (Brad) Brand of Pearl, Lora Smith of Katy, TX, Tyler (Katherine) Smith of Katy, TX, Nolan Smith of Katy, TX, Clay Patterson of Tupelo, MS, Daniel Patterson of Tupelo, Cheyenne Hale of Wesson, and Meghan Moore of Wesson.
