CCMA awards

THE MICHAEL BROWN MEMORIAL MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP –Santonio Wallace, a senior at Hazlehurst High School was presented the Copiah County Ministerial Alliance Gospel Choir Award in the amount of $500 during awards day at his school. MINISTERIAL SCHOLARSHIPS – The Copiah County Ministerial Alliance presented four $3,000 scholarship vouchers during their Christmas Banquet in December. Actual scholarships were presented to graduating seniors during awards day at their respective schools. Rev. PENDLETON AWARD – Enterprise Attendance Center senior Jarrod Dixon received the Rev. F.L. Pendleton Memorial Award in the amount of $2,000 during awards day at his school. Mrs. Irene Pendleton says she is very appreciative to Attorney Jim Shannon, Hickory Block U.M. Church and Crown Point U.M. Church for helping make this scholarship possible in honor of her late husband the Rev. F.L. Pendleton.

DIXON AWARD – Crystal Springs High School senior JaBreann Evans received the Rev. E.C. Dixon, Sr. highest achievement award in the amount of $2,000. The Dixon family received a letter of recommendation from her school who said she exemplified great character and achievement.
