Shirley Jane Nations

Shirley Jane Nations, 75, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst.

Visitation will be at Bethel Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, MS on Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev Tyson Windham and Rev. Vance Windham will be officiating the services.  Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Nations was born July 25, 1939, in Hazlehurst, MS, to Willie and Lena Ashley Nations. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, L. C. Nations, John Burt Nations, Charles Nations, Frank Nations, and Allie Nations; and her sisters, Willena Nations and Maggie Nell White.

Survivors are her brothers, Roy Nations and his wife Sandra of Brookhaven, James Nations and wife Carolyn of Bogalusa, LA, Scarbro Nations and wife Mary of El Paso, TX, and Billy Nations and wife Pat of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
