‘Raise the Stakes’ gala scheduled for Aug. 22

Make plans to attend Copiah Animal Shelter’s 5th Annual Gala, our largest fundraiser, Saturday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is Raise the Stakes, a casino theme. Don’t worry, there will not be any real gambling for money at the event! There will, however, be fun casino games, prizes, a cash bar courtesy of Brando’s, a dance floor with music provided by The Mayflies, and delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres. The Silent Auction contains wonderful items like a diamond ring worth more than $1,000. Enter our Grub Grab Raffle where you could win one of many delicious food items donated by area restaurants and bakeries.
