City of Hazlehurst to observe Halloween two days early

Mayor Henry Banks and the Hazlehurst Board of Aldermen met in regular session with all present on October 6, 2015. Police Chief Byron Swilley tendered the resignation of officer Ronnie Murray, which the Board accepted with regret. The chief asked the board to make Thursday, October 29, the official Halloween observation instead of Saturday, October 31, and the Board concurred.
