Colonels fall at Parklane; host Brookhaven for homecoming and senior night this Friday

BAD SPOT TO BE IN – Copiah’s Landon Murphy (22) is tackled by a Parklane defender while slipping on the grass on Friday night. John Ashley (72) rushes in to block.

The Parklane Pioneers (3-5, 2-0) controlled the line of scrimmage, ruled the time of possession and took advantage of three Copiah turnovers to defeat the Colonels 43-28 last Friday night. Parklane rushed for 489 of their 545 total offensive yards, running 73 plays and holding on to the ball for nearly 29 minutes to keep the explosive  Copiah offense in check.
