Copiah holds off Parklane 7-0; at MRA Friday

BATTLE IN THE TRENCHES – The Copiah defensive line got the best of the Parklane offensive line all night long in the Colonels 7-0 win on Friday.

The Copiah Academy Colonels (7-4) scored a first quarter touchdown, then played solid defense the rest of the way en route to a 7-0 win over Parklane Academy in McComb on Friday night in the first round of the MAIS AAAA Div. I playoffs.

“I am really proud of the way we played tonight.  We had fire in our belly, and it showed in the way we gutted this one out,” Colonel head coach Paul Anderson said after the game.
