Kenneth Furr, the long-time businessman and fire chief in the town of Wesson, has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the Wesson Christmas Parade, scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m.
The 86-year-old has served 70 years in the Wesson Volunteer Fire Department.  In 2002, the fire station was named after him by the City of Wesson.  Furr has also operated Furr’s Gulf for over 60 years.
