John Mason Gaston

Mr. John Mason Gaston, 91, of Wesson, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Country Brook Living Center.

Services  will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Riverwood.

He was born in Belmont, North Carolina on December 20, 1924. Mr. Gaston worked at Wesson Attendance Center in the maintenance department. He was a member of Mission Hill Baptist Church in Wesson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Marie Ward Gaston; parents, Samuel Ross Gaston and Lilly Mae Callwell Gaston; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

He is survived by his son, Samuel “Ward” Gaston and wife Darlene.
