Locals’ daughter honored

LOCALS’ DAUGHTER HONORED – Katrina Calhoun, of Laurel, was presented an award for Loyal and Faithful Service from Valley Services, Inc. Valley Services is a national company leading the way in contract food service management. As of Nov. 22, 2015, she has been the Food Service Director for 5 years at the Jasper County Jail in Bay Springs. Inmates in the Jasper County Jail are fed three meals a day, 365 days a year. Her parents, Beverly and Bobby Cheroni, are lifelong residents of Hazlehurst.
