Ward 4 special election set for February 16

Hazlehurst aldermen quickly tackled the highest item on the agenda during last Tuesday’s regular monthly board meeting by setting the special election for the vacant seat in Ward 4 for February 16.  Qualifiers may declare from January 6th to the 27th. A runoff, if necessary, will be held March 1. Only Ward 4 residents may qualify and may vote in this election.
