Cobras advance after knocking out Perry Central in 3A playoffs

HE’S SAFE! – Wesson Cobra Max Daughdrill (26) slides into home during Friday’s playoff game at Wesson. The plate umpire agreed with Wesson head coach Seth Lofton and called the runner ‘safe’. Perry County catcher Jason Coward made a good effort to stop Daughdrill, but he was just a tad late in getting in position to apply the tag. (Photo by Tracy Fischer)
