Ira Melvin McCardle, 83, passed away July 16, 2016 at his residence.
Visitation will be 10am-11am Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Sardis Baptist Church. Services will be 11am Tuesday at Sardis Baptist Church with burial at Sardis Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mr. McCardle is survived by his wife, Maxine Barlow McCardle; daughters, Teresa M. Turner of Crystal Springs and Lisa M. Bowlin of Hazlehurst; brothers, J. W. McCardle of Hazlehurst and Dewey Lee McCardle of Jackson; sisters, Carolyn Tarbutton of Hazlehurst; and 3 grandchildren, Clyde Brooks Turner, Jessica Emfinger, and Jeffrey Bowlin.
