Lady Colonels open up with wins over Manchester, Brookhaven

The Copiah Lady Colonels got off to a 1-0 start in fastpitch after winning at Manchester Academy 17-6 last Friday.
Copiah plated 2 in the first and lead 7-2 after a five-run third.  The Lady Colonels exploded for 10 runs in the top of the fourth, highlighted by a 3-run home run by senior Madison Humphreys.
