Indians steamroll Canton Tigers; host Morton next

The Clarion Ledger had Hazlehurst High School ranked No. 3 in the state’s 3A football classification as the Indians opened their season at the Canton Tigers last Friday night. Friday’s weather was soggy, but that did not stop the Indian fans from making the drive to Canton. The Tigers weren’t able to stop the Indians very often, and Hazlehurst came home with a 36-12 win.
