Veva Wolbrecht

Veva O’Connor Wolbrecht, 66, of Hazlehurst,  passed away December 4, 2016 at Pine Crest Guest Home.  Memorial Services will be 2pm Tuesday at Pine Crest Guest Home.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Wolbrecht was a council member for the National Federation of the Blind, St. Louis.  She was a member of the Blind Council in both St. Louis and Hazlehurst.   She worked for Royal Maid for many years.  Mrs. Wolbrecht graduated from Mississippi State in History and French and from Missouri State in English.

Mrs. Wolbrecht was a member of Winds of Pentecost in St. Charles, MO.

She is survived by sons, Jerremy Saucier (Carrie) of Philadelphia, MS; daughters, Adelle Gregg (Toby) of Wesson and Elwyn Delacruz (Jorge) of St. Charles, MO; sister, Phyllis Nelson of St. Charles, MO; and 15 grandchildren.
