Mercier joins the club

George Mercier (seated second from left), of Wesson, joined the centenarian club recently when he celebrated his 100th birthday.  His family held a fine affair at the Thames Center on the campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College on May 20.  Seated from left are son Kim, Mr. Mercier, wife Dorothy and daughter Pattie Nickles.  Standing are daughter Laurie, son Chet and daughter Anne Woodson.  Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with many of the Mercier’s friends attended the birthday celebration.  Photo by Tracy Fischer.
