North Carolina bound

Hazlehurst United Methodist Church Youth paused briefly in front of the church bus on Saturday morning before loading up and traveling to Camp Junaluska located in the Great Smoky Mountains near Asheville, NC.  From left are Bryce Ledet, Heather Harrison, Candace Johnson, Olivia Wilson, David Swain (youth leader), Taylor Marx, Holly Harrison, Grayson Coates, Conner Starks, Jessie Grace Cole and Susan Swain (youth leader).  The group stayed overnight in Chattanooga before finishing the final leg of the trip.  On Monday, besides attending worship sessions, the group enjoyed a rafting trip down the Nantahala River. The next day they volunteered to work in a soup kitchen near Lake Junaluska as part of their outreach ministry.  They will return Thursday afternoon.  The youth held fund-raisers to help finance the trip and wish to thank all who supported their effort.
