Noel receives award

The 39th Annual Mississippi Gospel Music Awards was held in Jackson at the Marriott Hotel on Sunday, July 23. Pastor Douglas Noel, Gospel Recording Artist, with the group Pastor Douglas Noel & Friendz of Hazlehurst, received the award for Male Lead Singer of the Year — the late Jimmy Ray Lewis Award. Pastor Noel is also the Pastor of New Covenant Christian fellowship Church in Crystal Springs.
