Roger Duane Howell

Roger Duane Howell, 68, of Harrisville, passed away August 1, 2017 at his residence.  Visitation will be 9:30am-11am Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Palestine Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Howell was a native of Copiah County.  He served in Vietnam in the US Army and received two purple hearts.  He was a retired electrician and a member of Unity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Cliburn Howell; sons, Michael Pevey of Harrisville and Raymond Howell of Ellisville, KS; daughters, Michelle Davis of Harrisville and Januea Sena of Denver, CO; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
