Carol R. Dodds

Graveside services for Carol R. Dodds will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wesson City Cemetery. Rev. Tyson Windom and Rev. Wayne Moak will officiate.
Carol, age 74 and a lifelong resident of Wesson, went to be with her Lord on August 7, 2017 in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Memphis, TN on December 8, 1942 to James and Lillian Hankey Smith.  Carol was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Leslie D. Sykes Williamson; sisters, Joyce S. Hall, Patricia “Pat” Frazier and husband James, Gloria F. Sweatman; grandchildren, Shannon N. Erwin and husband Joey, Jerald Corey Sykes and Rebecca Johnson; as well as Autumn “Peanut” Erwin, Jimmie Dalaney Erwin, Lilli-Anne Sykes, and Jerry Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl Anne Dodds; brother, James Rudolph Smith; and son-in-law, Jimmy Dale Williamson.
Honorary pallbearers are Drew Sweatman, Robert Smith, Mitch Berch, Joey Erwin, Bob Pettigrew, Thomas Howington, Steve Bennett, and Anthony Rabolais.
