David M. Kelly

David M. Kelly, 73, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church with services following. Stringer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Jackson but grew up and attended school in Columbia before moving back to Hinds County in 1988. He was a member of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church where he cooked meals from 1992 until 2015. He was manager of Morrison’s Cafeteria in Jackson until he retired. Mr. Kelly was a member of the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association, the Crystal Springs Lions Club, and also served in the U. S. Army Reserve.

Survivors include: wife, Judy Haley Kelly; daughter, Lisa Ann Kelly Morris (Chris) of Brookhaven; sons, David M.(Mike) Kelly, Jr., Brian Kelly (Kimberlea) and Jason Thomas Kelly (Angela) all of Crystal Springs; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wednesday Program at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church.
