Thomas Hester

Thomas Hester, 84, passed away on August 29, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in Tutor Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tyson Windom will officiate. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery in Mize, MS.
He was born on April 20, 1933, to Glenn Hester and Lizzie (Butler) Hester. Thomas retired from a career as a maintenance mechanic.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jacob Tindall Hester, Franklin Preston Hester, Edward Lee Hester; sisters, Dimple Hutchinson, Ruby Cooley
Thomas is survived by two sons; Thomas James Hester, Mike Moody; five daughters, Annette, Deborah, Patricia Ellen, Lisa Myles, Lyn Moody; brother, Jerry Hester; sisters, Betty Best, Hazel Shaw, Pauline Scoggin; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, C/O Royce Craft, 1824 Hwy 28, Mize, MS 39116.
