Workforce Initiative in full swing

Copiah County’s ACT Work Ready Steering Committee kicked off the Copiah County Workforce Initiative last Wednesday at City Hall in Hazlehurst.  The committee is ultimately working to bridge the gap between the workforce needs of businesses and industries and the type of skills expected from a new worker coming out of college or those who have been employed long-term.
