Sheriff Harold Jones resigns, thanks friends for support

Copiah County Sheriff Harold Jones resigned effective November 1 stating “I believe this will insure a more uniform transition for the newly elected Sheriff.” He extended thanks to the supervisors and county attorney and two retired supervisors for their support during his 16 years in office and to “wonderful memories and countless friends.” To read more subscribe to The Meteor E-Edition
