Copiah hospital work session indicates promise for solution

Representatives of the Copiah County Medical Center, the Copiah Board of Supervisors and the doctors serving the hospital met with mediator Bill Grete of the Brunini Law Firm Tuesday night, Oct. 8 and found promise for solving some problems facing continuance of hospital service for Copiah County. Claims for September totaling $1,950,380 were allowed as officials adjourned for October to meet again on November 4 at 9 a.m.
