Betty Jean Jackson Boleware Betty Jean (Jackson) Boleware, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019. Graveside services were 1 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2019, at Old Crystal Springs Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs handled arrangements. Betty Jean was born Oct. 8, 1931 in Crystal Springs, Miss., to Rowan and Leona Jackson. She attended Crystal Springs High School where she led the band as a majorette. She retired from Pascagoula School System where she influenced the lives of many children. She was an active choir member at Eastlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Boleware, her siblings, Elga, Tally, Mary Edna, Audry, Claudine, Doris, Cooper, and Don. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Jackson (Margie), her children, Michael (Lorraine), Jan (Kenny), and Nancy; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
