Genevieve Harris inducted into 2019 National Extension Service Hall of Fame

The National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS), the professional association for Extension Family and Consumer Science professionals, recognized Hazlehurst resident and retired Extension Service Agent Genevieve Harris for her commitment, dedication, effective leadership, and involvement in NEAFCS at the state, regional and national level. She, along with Nettie Ruth Brown, Ruth Jackson and Dr. Jan Scholl were named to the 2019 NEAFCS Hall of Fame at the annual meeting Sept.30 in Hershey, Pa.
