Scams, Fraud and Identity Theft Seminar held at Biggs Library

As the holidays are fast approaching, Librarian Gusty Funchess and staff of J. T. Biggs, Jr. Memorial Library wanted to help citizens in the Crystal Springs Community to be safe and to remain safe. They invited Daphne Killingsworth of Trustmark Bank and Copiah County Sheriff Elect Byron Swilley to conduct a seminar on Scams, Fraud and Identity Theft. Those attending the seminar received information on identifying scams, fraud and identity theft and on how to prevent being a victim. The speakers provided information on being safe in every day life in homes, in the community, while shopping, and at public events. The public is invited to receive information on these subjects by stopping by Crystal Springs’ information center, J. T. Biggs, Jr. Memorial Library.
