Wagon Trains from across the state travel to the fairgrounds in Jackson each year for the Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo. The trains travel 10-15 miles a day. Children and adults of all ages enjoy the annual treks and for many families it is a tradition that is looked forward to throughout the year. The Wesson Wagon Train, which originated in 1984, traveled through Crystal Springs Monday and participants camped in the area for the night. The group will arrive in Jackson later this week to participate in the Dixie National.
