Sally Garland and Nora Berch, members of Keep Copiah County Beautiful, decided there needed to be a way to help those affected by the floods in Copiah County. After contacting the hardware stores in Copiah County, the stores agreed to provide “cleanup buckets” to anyone who needed them. Copiah County flood relief effort Help is needed for the Copiah County flood relief effort. The City of Crystal Springs is collecting supplies that will be used for immediate distribution to local families in Copiah County who are being impacted by the recent flooding. Please bring cases of water, soft drinks, and snacks to the Crystal Springs United Methodist Church, 306 West Georgetown Street. The City of Crystal Springs will collect the donations and deliver them to these neighbors who are in desperate need. “Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me–you did it to me.’ “ Matthew 25:40.
