Memorial Day ceremony to be held Monday

Due to the conditions created by the COVID-19 virus, the Hazlehurst Chamber of Commerce will not hold the customary Memorial Day ceremony.
In place of the normal ceremony, a wreath will be placed at the war memorial monument by a Hazlehurst police officer.
The placing of the wreath will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 25. No other activities are planned.
The public is invited to attend the placing of the wreath. Please observe the wearing of masks and keeping social distance.
