Hazlehurst City School District summer food program begins June 1

The Hazlehurst City School District’s summer meal program will begin June 1 and end July 17 and will be open Monday through Friday. Meals will be served at Hazlehurst Elementary and Middle schools.
The program will be closed on July 3 and July 6.
Grab & Go meals will be available for pick-up from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily. Meals will be delivered to the vehicle and placed in the trunk. If a vehicle has no trunk, the meals will be placed on a table and someone from the vehicle will need to get out and pick up the meals from the table.
Children must be present in vehicle to receive meals and do not have to be a student of HCSD. Each child will receive a lunch and breakfast at the time of pick-up. The lunch is intended for immediate consumption, and the breakfast is intended for consumption the following day.
In addition to drive-thru, walkers and bikers are welcome.
