Lady Cobras split on the court in district volleyball action

The Wesson girls volleyball team had two important matches this week. They traveled to Meadville on Tuesday to take on district foe Franklin County and played host to St. Andrews on Thursday at the Snake Pit.
On Tuesday, the Lady Cobras came out on top in a huge divisional matchup with Franklin County as they are both battling for a spot in the playoff run. Wesson started out slow as the Lady Bulldogs of Franklin County won game one 25-11, but Wesson bounced back to take game two 26-24 and game three 25-19. Franklin County wouldn’t lay down as they answered back with a 25-22 win in game four, but Wesson came out victorious, 15-5, in the fifth and final game.
