McMillian elected new Dist. 1 supervisor; Phillips reclaims Dist. 5

A total of 7,457 voters from Copiah County cast ballots in Tuesday’s general election, which covered statewide offices and most positions in the county.  Unofficial results were announced at the Copiah County Courthouse on Tuesday night by Chancery Clerk Edna Stevens and her staff.
