Fun weekend planned in Wesson

The 2024 Wesson Founder’s Day celebration is set for May 3 and 4, and the Wesson Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to come enjoy the fun.

The event kicks off Friday at 5 p.m. with music by the Co-Lin Jazz Band. The 5K Color Fun Run begins at 6 p.m., and entertainment
continues into the evening.

Vendors open at 8 a.m., Saturday, and the day will be filled with lots of shopping opportunities, crowning of the Founder’s Day Queen, entertainment, and great food. Kids will enjoy a fun zone with jumpers, axe throwing,
and face painting. The event will close with
a street dance to the music of 55 South, followed by a fireworks show.
