The Hazlehurst girls and boys basketball teams took the hour drive to Meadville, MS to take on the Franklin County Bulldogs last Friday night. Hazlehurst Garden Club selected the home of Dr. Ted Dear as the recipient of the January yard of the month. Both girls teams started off sluggish with Hazlehurst leading 10-7 after one quarter.
