WARNING, HERE COMES A FIRE TRUCK! – Stronghope Volunteer Fire Department’s new flashing sign will warn the public when a fire engine is entering the road. Since there is a hill at the station and traffic can not see the station untill they are there, this flashing warning sign should make the public and the volunteers safer. The Stronghope Volunteer Fire Department, with the county’s assistance, has installed a flashing warning light near the station to warn motorists when a fire truck is entering the road.
