Copiah 7 & 8 all-stars announced

Copiah County announced its 7 & 8 year old all-star teams at the conclusion of the regular season.

The league 7 & 8 year old Coach Pitch championship was won by One Stop Repair coached by Darrell Granger.

The representatives for the 2009 8-year old All-Star squad are as follows:  Spence Granger, Pryce Ainsworth, Peyton Simon, Rhett Mattingly, Luke Sanders, Joseph Bauer, Sawyer Carpenter, Gannon Whittington, Jared Little, Jake Smith, Clayton Johnson, and Keith Johnson

The 8-year olds are coached by head coach Darrell Granger, Kelly Carpenter, Bubby Simon, and Terry Bauer.  They began play Tuesday evening versus Pine Hills in Summit at the district tourney.    

The 7-year old All-Star team will be fielded by Cole Eckoff, Tristan Dear, Ryan Ramsey, Ryan Sessums, Devin Davis, Tarique Bethea, Tucker Jackson, Hunter Smith, Connor Douglas, Bryce Prescott, Bennett Cliburn, and J.T. Manne.

The 7-year olds are coached by head coach Stanley Eckoff, Stevie Cliburn, Kevin Dear, Justin Jackson, and Terrell Ramsey.  They traveled to Wesson Tuesday night for their 7-year old district tourney matchup.
