The Hazlehurst Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 7. Mayor Henry Banks and other city officials will lead the parade. The Grand Marshal will be Copiah County native and Supreme Court Justice Jim Kitchens. Santa Claus will ride atop the fire engines and throw candy to the children.

The parade will begin forming at 4:30 p.m. at the Hazlehurst High School. At 6 p.m. the parade will move along McDaniel Drive and follow the same route as last year. The parade will end on Whitworth Street in front of Huntington Lumber Company.

Parents, bring your children to the Depot and have their pictures taken with Santa Claus. Crockett Action Shots will begin taking pictures at 4:30 p.m. Just down the street at the Pavilion choirs will begin singing at 5:30 p.m. and will continue singing until the parade reaches the Pavilion.

The Hazlehurst Area Chamber of Commerce hopes that you will come out and enjoy another great Christmas Parade and wishes you a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season.
