Cobras finish in third place

Wesson center Tyler Lumley poured in 22 points against Loyd Star in Wesson on Tuesday evening, but the Hornets defeated the Cobras 65-55 in Wesson’s final regular season district game on 2010.

Zach Fetcko added 14, Kyle Cross notched 8 and Hunter Hood pitched in with 6.

The Cobras,10-16, 5-5, the 3-seed in Division 6-2A, will now face 6-seed Puckett in the first round of the post-season tournament in Wesson on Tuesday.

Wesson’s final regular season game is at home against Jackson Prep on Friday.
