Wesson girls wrap up top spot

Senior guard/forward Ann Shelby Davis led the Wesson Lady Cobras with 18 points in the 63-31 win over the Lady Hornets Tuesday evening.  Macie Case added 14, Danielley Tadlock chipeed in 8 and Ansley Schimmel collected 6.

Wesson blew open a 27-21 halftime score by doubling their points in the third quarter and doubling the Lady Hornets at 54-27.

Wesson, 22-5, 9-1, will play on Thursday, February 11 at the 6-2A tourney, hosted by Wesson.

Coach Hugh Webb’s team has one more regular season game remaining, this Friday at home against Jackson Prep of MAIS.
