
Hazlehurst Fire Chief Gabriel Harvey and Copiah Chief Deputy Tony Hemphill
TRAVELING MEMORIAL WALL – The Military Order of the Purple Heart Traveling Memorial Wall will be on display at Trustmark Bank in Hazlehurst for the rest of this week. The wall features the names and photographs of soldiers from Mississippi who have been killed while in military service. Visiting the wall are Hazlehurst Fire Chief Gabriel Harvey and Copiah Chief Deputy Tony Hemphill, who both lost friends in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their friends, Joe N. Wilson of Crystal Springs and Raphael S. Davis from the Jackson area, are both included on the memorial wall. Hemphill served in Afghanistan.
