Over 400 attend Copiah County Triad Seniors Day

Over 400 local senior adults attended today’s second annual Copiah County Triad held at the Durr Wise Center at Camp Wesley Pines in Gallman.  Sheriff Harold Jones, who hosts the event each year, declared it a resounding success.

Guests were treated to free health screenings performed by Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital and host of other health care providers.  Entertainment was provided by Matthew Gaddy and Justice Jim Kitchens, as well as by the Dixieland Cloggers.

All who attended were able to get their hands on very pertinent health care information and learn more about what options they may have while facing any current or future health problems.

Many in the crowd were winners of door prizes that were donated by local businesses.  All went away with a pleased appetite after enjoying a meal of chicken strips that were donated by Sanderson Farms and all the fixings.
