BREAKING NEWS: Authorities investigating another north Copiah murder

Local law enforcement is investigating the second murder in the northern Copiah County area in the past week.
On Tuesday morning, Larry Mazie, 29, of Crystal Springs, was found dead in his home with gun shot wounds to his upper body.
Sheriff Harold Jones said that his office was searching for a “person of interest” and that no other information would be immediately made available.
Copiah County SO is getting assistance from Mississippi Bureau of Investigation on the case.
The other murder happened Saturday night when Currin L. Hardy, 45, also of Crystal Springs was killed during an altercation with Tonya Taylor, 41, of Crystal Springs.  Taylor is in custody at the Copiah County Correctional Facility in Gallman.
