Supervisors review road work bids
The Board of Supervisors in their next to the last meeting of the year dealt with basic business of the county such as property taxes and bids for depository accounts and road maintenance supplies.
Copiah Bank and Trustmark National Bank submitted bids for the county’s depository and yearly and semi-yearly accounts. Ronnie Barlow, County Administrator, recommended the board take the bids under advisement until an in-depth review of the bids could be completed by December 15, the date of the board’s next meeting.
Road Maintenance Bids were opened for supplies including oversize rock, bridge repair, riprap, county matt, seal rock, and other materials. The board decided to take the bids under advisement until their next meeting on December 15.
