Indians, Cobras in Regional championship games tonight

In Region 7-3A tournament action at Jefferson County last night, the Hazlehurst Indians knocked off the host school 59-39.  Hazlehurst advances to tonight’s title game against the Crystal Springs-Franklin County winner at 8:30.
In girls action, the Lady Indians were put out by Crystal Springs on Wednesday, ending their season.
At the Region 7-2A tournament at Enterprise School in Lincoln County last night, the Wesson Cobras defeated East Marion and advanced to tonight’s championship game against Bassfield.  Tip off is 8:30.
The Lady Cobras fell by three points to Amite County, 53-50.  They face Loyd Star in the consolation game at 4 p.m. today.
