New flag presented

Pine Crest Guest Home raised a new flag, and Cherokee Rose Chapter NSDAR honored veterans at the home with gift bags during November, in recognition of Veterans Day.

Veterans Sam Allman, D.J. Sandifer, Joe Perkins, Williams Thetford, and Quimby Middleton were delighted with their gifts, especially the hats crocheted by Celeste Rhymes, National Defense Chairperson. 

Bobby Welborn and Ellis Stuart, Administrative Staff at Pine Crest, and Alice Moreland, Cherokee Rose Regent, are shown with Mrs. Rhymes, raising the flag.
